How the West is Ridden-

Conquer the West started out because ourselves and others felt that there was a need for additional moto trials series here in the United States. After traveling around and talking to like minded trials enthusiasts, we quickly discovered that there are already multiple memorable and prestigious events but they are not connected to a series. In 2018 we traveled to every event that we thought would be perfect for Conquer the West and discussed the idea with the event organizers and affiliated clubs.  We decided that making the series participation based was a great way to include riders of all ages, skill levels and their families. These events are run and organized by local dedicated trials motorcycle clubs.  Without the hard work and dedication of these local clubs and their members Conquer the West would not be possible. Thank you!

What class you ride at each event does not matter and how you place at each event does not matter. The purpose of this series is for you to travel this beautiful country of ours, ride trials in new places and meet new people outside of your own club!

To "conquer" the west you must ride at least four of the ten events and participate (ride, check or organize) in both days to qualify. Participants that achieve this will receive a customized finishers jacket and be entered to win gift certificates from our sponsors.

If this is your year to conquer the west please register to let us know which events you are planning to ride.

Thank you!

We are Bryce & Erica Pophal. You will typically find us at most of these events along with our dogs Sadie & Piper. We love to travel and ride. When we aren't on our bikes we run a mobile equipment repair business together and call northern California home.

We are both Sacramento PITS and SSMC members and we hold a seat on the board of each.

We love the sport of trials and the family we've come to find within it! If you see us out there, please come introduce yourself and bring a treat for the doggos.
